We have used a more electronic version of this song as an intro track for "Shadow Ocean Stagnant" in our live show. But this more piano-driven version of the song marks the first actual release of the track. It includes lyrical and musical elements from previous Kozen songs, including Shadow Ocean Stagnant, Transatlantic, With Open Eyes, Rooted In Thin Air, and Altikale Reign Ethereal. While we have always done a lot of background vocal layering, the opening two songs on this EP are the first time we have come somewhat close to A Capella music.
